Zootopia

I love Zootopia. Love may be an understatement for how much I embrace the whole concept and plot for the latest Disney flick. As usual, the Disney folks created  a brilliantly scripted yet light movie about animals living as anthropomorphic (having human characteristics) that suit children and adults.

It centered around the struggle of a rabbit Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) as a police officer who along the way, faces stereotypes as she is a prey and a woman. She intertwined with a super sly fox, Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) who was at first forced to help her in solving the missing cases of a number of predators.

Zootopia feels like a fun educational film about stereotypes and judgment on others. Although its mockery on working department being controlled by sloths (that explains the long queue!) is hilarious, Zootopia touched the issues of race, ethnicity and feminism without being too obvious.

Watch this if you like: other Disney movies with a heartfelt and warm messages

Verdict: This is hands down the best animation flick of 2016 yet. From the jokes, the lovable characters and even the perfect voice casts, this movie is quintessential from beginning to the end.

Watch out for: The hysterically funny sloths with their super-slow nature

Rating: 9/10 (I mean, Rotten Tomatoes gives this movie a solid 99% rating!)

Also, the Internet went crazy with a spoof on various famous posters  based on Zootopia and the Fifty Shades of Grey parody is my favorite!
