The golden circle of A-list celebrities but expect cameos

Earlier this year, I was thrilled when they announced the new cast members for the sequel of Kingsman. We've got Halle Berry, Channing Tatum, Julianne Moore and a slew of other A-list actors weighing in the sequel of this super-slick British spy flick which basically was a more vibrant version of James Bond.

But boy, was I disappointed. I felt robbed during the entirety of the movie, regretting the months I've spent waiting for this and yawning at the bland and outstretched plot. First of all, do not expect any of the new cast members to have an ample screen time. Not that I'm complaining about the solid performances of Taron Egerton who played Eggsy or Mark Strong's Merlin but the trailers and posters had us believed that Halle Berry and Channing Tatum were an integral part of the movie- but they weren't.

Tatum's role as the Statesman's agent (Kingsman's counterpart based in the US) was basically a cameo whereas Halle Berry's character, Ginger Ale was not only neglected by other Statesman agent, but also by the movie itself. Julianne Moore's Poppy, the antagonist was unlike Samuel L Jackson's entertaining lunatic lines and intrigue. Poppy was somehow unfunny, trying hard to be like the previous antagonist, but not worthy of the comparison.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle was a snoozefest. Action sequences were too little to compensate with its 140 minutes runtime although it would easily be on the same level with other action films nowadays. The rest was monotonous and dull; filled with uninteresting minor plots and a recycled twist. Oh and I've had lost count on how many times I've yawned.

Watch out for:

This insane cab-chasing scene in the beginning.

The return of Charlie. This rejected Kingsman agent gone rogue, equipped with a bionic arm.

Last time we've got a girl with bionic legs and now arms?

The recreation of that awesome bar fight.
