Pride And Prejudice And Zombies

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies adds zombies, a little action and explosions along with stale jokes and expects it to be a blockbuster.

These last few years have been filled with undead zombies genre with the likes of Scouts' Guide to Zombie Apocalypse, World War Z and The Walking Dead which I admit is pretty tiring.

PPZ however, breathes fresh life to this undead genre with a 19th century England settings where the misconception on women is vast and aristocrats stay within their own social classes.

The very essence of the Pride and Prejudice is present in the dialogues but the director was trying too hard to show that the girls are tough as a zombie slayer yet with a tender heart.

Watch out for: Hilarious proposal-turned-fight between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy

Watch this if you like: A heavier yet satirical zombie movies

Verdict: If you're anticipating for gory, bloody zombie slaying, this might not be up your alley.
